Embracing Wisdom and Discernment For Spiritual Navigation

“But the wisdom from above is always pure, filled with peace, considerate and teachable. It is filled with love and never displays prejudice or hypocrisy in any form.” -James (Jacob) 3:17, TPT

“For the Lord gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding. He stores up sound wisdom for the upright; He is a shield to those who walk in integrity.” –Proverbs 2:6-7, NASB

“For it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you.”  –Matthew 10:20, ESV

As you embrace Godly Wisdom from above (James 3:17), you are able to rightly discern the spiritual climate of situations and navigate them to achieve God’s desired end. You can speak with the authority of God, knowing that His Word will bring about change. You can stand firm in the face of adversity, trusting that God will vindicate you. This is how you possess the advantage as God’s Stealth Soldier.

Discerning the Truth Behind Every Lie

“But the natural, nonspiritual man does not accept or welcome or admit into his heart the gifts and teachings and revelations of the Spirit of God, for they are folly (meaningless nonsense) to him; and he is incapable of knowing them [of progressively recognizing, understanding, and becoming better acquainted with them] because they are spiritually discerned and estimated and appreciated. But the spiritual man tries all things [he [a]examines, investigates, inquires into, questions, and discerns all things], yet is himself to be put on trial and judged by no one [he can read the meaning of everything, but no one can properly discern or appraise or get an insight into him]. For who has known or understood the mind (the counsels and purposes) of the Lord so as to guide and instruct Him and give Him knowledge? But we have the mind of Christ (the Messiah) and do hold the thoughts (feelings and purposes) of His heart.” -1 Corinthians 2:14, AMPC

“For we have the living Word of God, which is full of energy, like a two-mouthed sword. It will even penetrate to the very core of our being where soul and spirit, bone and marrow meet! It interprets and reveals the true thoughts and secret motives of our hearts.” -Hebrews 4:12, TPT

Discerning the spiritual climate of situations is discerning the spiritual atmosphere, spiritual environment, spiritual mods, spiritual conditions, spiritual feeling, and spiritual tone of situations. This is Discerning the Truth Behind Every Lie. Having the capability to do this is possessing the advantage. How, so? I’m glad you asked…

Spiritual Response and Action

“But the fruit of the [Holy] Spirit [the work which His presence within accomplishes] is love, joy (gladness), peace, patience (an even temper, forbearance), kindness, goodness (benevolence), faithfulness, gentleness (meekness, humility), self-control (self-restraint, continence). Against such things there is no law [that can bring a charge].” -Galatians 5:22-23, AMPC

“But the fruit produced by the Holy Spirit within you is divine love in all its varied expressions: joy that overflows, peace that subdues, patience that endures, kindness in action, a life full of virtue, faith that prevails, gentleness of heart, and strength of spirit. Never set the law above these qualities, for they are meant to be limitless.” -Galatians 5:22-23, TPT

“Do not let yourself be overcome by evil, but overcome (master) evil with good.” -Romans 12:21, AMPC

“Manifest your kingdom realm, and cause your every purpose to be fulfilled on earth, just as it is in heaven.” -Matthew 6:10, TPT

“I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” -Matthew 16:19, ESV

“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.” -Ephesians 6:12, ESV

“For although we live in the natural realm, we don’t wage a military campaign employing human weapons, using manipulation to achieve our aims. Instead, our spiritual weapons are energized with divine power to effectively dismantle the defenses behind which people hide. We can demolish every deceptive fantasy that opposes God and break through every arrogant attitude that is raised up in defiance of the true knowledge of God. We capture, like prisoners of war, every thought and insist that it bow in obedience to the Anointed One.” -2 Corinthians 10:3-4-5, TPT

“You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste (its strength, its quality), how can its saltness be restored? It is not good for anything any longer but to be thrown out and trodden underfoot by men. You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.” -Matthew 5:13-14, AMPC

To respond and act spiritually is to gain control of a matter and cause it to fall under the influence, domination, and control of the Kingdom of God within you. You advance the Kingdom of Heaven by bringing the Will of God into the situation. You do this by spiritually responding to matters through your inherited Divine Nature of Love: humility, peace, and the fruit of the spirit. This is more powerful than hate.

Supernatural Power of Spiritual Responses

“A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in a setting of silver.” -Proverbs 25:11, NRSV

[The Servant of God says] The Lord God has given Me the tongue of a disciple and of one who is taught, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him who is weary. He wakens Me morning by morning, He wakens My ear to hear as a disciple [as one who is taught]. -Isaiah 50:4, AMPC

“We fight to tear down the barriers and to enter into God’s presence, demolishing all obstacles and every proud argument that is raised up against the knowledge of God. We capture, like prisoners of war, every thought and insist that it bow in obedience to the Anointed One.” -2 Corinthians 10:4-5, TPT

“A gentle response defuses anger, but a sharp tongue kindles a temper-fire.” -Proverbs 15:1, TPT

These spiritual responses are rivers of living water flowing from your belly, quenching the fiercest fires. They are winds that carry the choice words from your breath, extinguishing every flickering flame.
